We are delighted to announce that Mrs McGuill will take over from Mr Denieffe as principal of Scoil Chomhgháin Naofa. Mrs McGuill has taught in our school for 38 years and has been Vice Principal since 2019. She has had a pivotal role in many occasions which have become a big part of our school calendar including our display days and school plays.
Mrs McGuill brought her love of music and drama to our school community and wrote many of our whole school plays before our numbers grew. She also played a huge role in our move to our new school building in 2012.
Mrs McGuill taught 6th Class for many years before moving to her role as Special Education Teacher. During her time teaching Sixth she helped prepare hundreds of students for their Confirmation.
We have no doubt that Mr Denieffe has left our school in very worthy hands and we look forward to supporting her going forward.
We hope all our school community will join together in wishing Mrs McGuill every success in her new role.
