Ms Fleming’s 4th Class wrote letters this week to five Carlow and Laois TD’s and Minister for Education Norma Foley, pushing for the installation of solar panels in schools all over the country. They wrote about the benefits for the environment as well as the money that would be saved and the uses it could be put to. This included ICT resources, a school kitchen, playground equipment, new books and even beanbags for the library!
