Today was a day of celebration as we raised our Amber Flag for the first time! The Amber Flag is awarded to schools who make a special effort to foster and promote a healthy and inclusive environment that supports mental well-being.
As part of the initiative our Amber Flag Committee organised our new Buddy Bench, Well-being Week and Festive Friday which raised nearly €700 for Pieta House.
A huge thank you and congratulations to Mrs Smith, Ms Dempsey and all the members of the Amber Flag Committee who have helped make our school an even happier place to be!
To mark the day today the boys and girls (and the staff!) were treated to a special surprise! A huge thank you to Danny Bolton and Balloons & Sweet Treats for helping us mark this important occasion!
